hi and this time im back with a SUPER RELEVANT music video for all of you...its by SHE and its called ‘听袁惟人弹吉他’from their latest album 'PLAY'. the song is a narrative about an aspiring music composer/lyricist whose role model is 袁惟人, one of the best music producers in the chinese album industry. it tells of how hard it is to succeed and the need to persevere, and also serves as great encouragement for all apsiring music composers/lyricists out there (including me and ht of course)

some background information about this song...its actually written by 张简君伟, who lived one floor above 袁惟仁. since young, he had been listening to him play his guitar from above and was inspired to write and compose his own songs. this particular song happened to be posted on his blog and was discovered by EMI and subsequently recorded into a song. to top it all off, the lyrics and tune are all done by himself.

first up, its SHE's new song called 中国话 from their newest album 'Play' (out in stores now)
the music has a simple enough tune that people can easily catch on to, and the lyrics are *supercool*
watch and you'll find out =)

heres the next one... also by SHE, its entitled 五月天 from the same album 'Play' and MV special guest : 阿信!!!
well its a combination of two of my favourite groups and the song has a clean and simple tune to it to boot

ok...last one up is by 吴克群 and his song 老子说 from his newest EP '老子说'
this is a new music genre that he's trying out and the underlying meaning of 老子说 is actually '老子我说' (if you dont get it then nevermind just enjoy the song)
ok this song also has a very catchy tune to it and the lyrics carry a deeper meaning to them, so i also like it very much. enjoy!

elo guys its been such a loooong time since i made a post eh? unfortunately its not a song...currently its the sports season so me and ht would be quite busy zzz + we are currently having terms exams so yeah really pressed for time...sorry people we'll try to get back on track as soon as we have more time on our hands. fortunately, i have a really really interesting HOME-MADE mv to show you guys(but not made by me or ht haha) bad language aside, its VERY creative and its really comprised of everything that any aspiring lyricist could ever hope for =)

hey guys remember i said i would post the 天使 music video when it came out? well it came out quite awhile back and so here it is! abit of background information: the starting of this song may sound familiar to some of you; that's because its extracted from the tune of a children's song(sadly i have no idea which one). this song is very simple, with a tune that's incredibly hard to forget and lyrics which are easy to understand yet still contain a deep meaning behind them. some of you may think i'm talking nonsense, but take a good look at the lyrics and most probably you'll agree with me =)

hopefully you guys enjoyed the song as much as i did introducing it to all of you. i also sincerely hope that this simple song reminded you of all the good things in life and all the things we should cherish.

heh i promised a new post would be coming up soon so here it is. this song took me quite a while to write, mainly because after i thought up the chorus i couldnt think of how to continue it, so i left it until i yesterday, when i finally managed to think up the rest of the song. not sure if any of you can notice, but this song is different from what ive been doing so far, in terms of style or even theme. not sure if its for better or for worse, but i personally like this song alot more than the others because this song (to me) expresses emotions much better than the rest and also (i believe) is much more fluent as a song.

er... i am SINCERELY sorry for the very obvious lack of new posts... well i guess an apology doesnt really cut it... its just that both me and ht have been really really busy these days and so neglected the blog... but for now, we're back in business! mayday, or more well-known as 五月天，HAS RELEASED THEIR NEW ALBUM quite a while back... 29th december. i got mine on the 3rd of january due to unforseen circumstances but thats not the point here...ok well for all you buggers out there who are not familiar with mayday, not familiar with their songs or have not even HEARD of them or their songs before, here's your big chance to appreciate their beautiful music. before that, just some background information: other than Twins' 瓶中沙，mayday's lead singer, 阿信，does all the lyrics of songs that he composes himself, and has also written the lyrics of many beautiful songs such as 梁静茹 - 丝路，梁静茹 - 听不到，孙燕姿 - First Day, 王力宏 - 在梅边，品冠 - 无可救药... so on and so forth. here's a clip of their new song from their new album 为爱而生：天使. I hope you guys enjoy this song.

p.s this is a slow song, and to truly appreciate the song, you probably need to listen well and hear all the words and think on them and understand how they link together (not as hard as it sounds). the same can be said for all of mayday's songs.

p.s.p.s if i have a chance, i will upload the full version and hopefully also another of their new song : 为爱而生. this song is more 'rock', which is mayday's usual style : soft rock ranging to hard rock (but not heavy metal)

Alright people i promised a post coming up soon so here it is!! Haha well another sad song here so no 新鲜感 for any of you.. Hmm well for this song the title came first, or in other words the 'concept' of this song came to my mind first before i got down to writing it.. This is quite unlike my previous experiences where I think of a few good lines to start working with before I actually get to the song.. SHAKE IT BABY

Woooo finally another post people after so long! Once again the blog seems dead so I'll try and revive it by jazzing it up with another music video! For anybody that remembers, I always talk about these people called 黑涩会美眉. Well, they have a new song coming out on the market on 12/15 called 'Shake It Baby', but i doubt it will be sold anywhere except in Taiwan.. OK, so what's so special about this song? Well it's a very lively and cute song (sounds strange coming from me -_-") and in my opinion, it really can brighten up your day. Another important point to note about the song is that the tune is done by 范玮琪范范 (bet alot of you had no idea she could write tunes eh?). Incidentally, their previous song 我爱黑涩会 also had its tune done by her. The tune is simple, but that also makes it catchy. I'm sure if any of you like the song you'll find that after listening to it once or twice you can already hum along. Haha think i wrote too much.. Enjoy the song!

Hey people i'm really really sorry that this new post took so long to appear... The truth is i was hesitant over whether i should release this song 'cause i think its the kind that you either love or hate... I expect some people to say that its a super 'emo' song but that's ok. At least it means you bothered to read it and i'm thankful for that. Well that reminds me... i suspect the blog is dead... since nobody even wants to comment anymore...well to liven up the atmosphere let me just introduce a song fully written AND composed by Kenji 吴克群. This song is entitled 男俑 and it's a really cute song which i believe will get your spirits back up.
It's from his latest album 将军令 and ALL the songs in this album are written and composed by him. To me, that's a really great feat and i truly admire him for that.

i bought the album and its really good, it covers a wide variety of song genres. I recommend it to everyone out there, especially people like me and ht (songwriters wanna-bes)

well people the reason behind us asking time and time again for comments is undoubtedly so that we can improve on our songs, but it is also to KNOW exactly who read our songs or who visited our blog, because our counter can only tell us how many people visited but not who actually bothered to read our 'babies'..

Hey people still hardcore fans i see..as for those who have never been to this blog before and this is your visit, please recommend it to your friends as well if you like it ok?

Well this song is about all (or at least most) of the more crazy or memorable things i did with my friends back in the days and it's a simple recollection of all my memories. thanks goes to yuanjie for finding this video for us
on the other hand to make this video relevant to this blog its a advertisement from MTV and everyone knows MTV is a music channel so...

realised that

proves to have no such problem
so we decided to shift

this time round
the song is written by our very gd friend
ndric
of course we contributed ideas
well i must say we are quite a threesome

we wrote this song
during our secondary 4 years
after our prelim exams
we were depressed and
discouraged
as the exams were a killer
and the truth hit us harsh and hard

the song is kind of rough
but it was written for laughs
it sure lightened our dampened spirits
so we decided to share the song
with you guys even though it was written long ago
